About HILDY
Hildy Silverman graduated from Brandeis University cum laude with Honors in their Creative Writing track. She had the pleasure of working with advisers Sue Miller, Jayne Anne Phillips, Jay Cantor, and Geoffrey Wolff. She writes primarily genre fiction (science fiction, fantasy, horror, and mystery), including the short stories appearing in the anthologies listed on this page. Her story, “The Six Million Dollar Mermaid,” was a finalist for the WSFA Small Press award.
In 2005, Hildy became the publisher and editor-in-chief of Space and Time, now a five-decade-old magazine of fantasy, horror, and science fiction, and ran it until 2018. She is a past president of the Garden State Speculative Fiction Writers and a frequent panelist on the science fiction convention circuit.
Hildy currently resides in New Jersey.
